Hey everyone! The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo is still on press, but making good progress! Here is a video of the uncut sheets flying through the machines!
Pretty soon it will enter the binding phase. Expect another update at that point!

One last stop before the book hits the press—we have received the "make-ready" copies. As we mentioned in the last update, these are printer proof copies of the book that we look over to make sure the book layout and printing is exactly how we want it. Once we give the okay, the book is ready for the print run!
Take a look at this flipthough of the make-ready! This is a tease to tide you over while you wait for this book to come in the mail.
And speaking of the mail—if you are using AppleID as your main contact through Kickstarter, please be aware that Backerkit and Kickstarter do not communicate via AppleID and you will NOT receive the Backerkit survey that you need to fill out to give us your mailing address. Please change your AppleID contact to a regular email address in your Kickstarter settings.

Once we receive these proofs ("make-readies"), we'll be inspecting all the final details, then we'll give the printer the thumbs up to go to press!

We find it hard to sit on cool stuff, and today is no exception. You may have already seen these on Mike's Instagram feed, but we wanted to share it here as well.
Mikes been hard at work reviewing the final designs of the project, but more so, he's been diligently working on all the head sketches on this campaign.
They are amazing.
